• Check that iCloud is available and if so, turn restrictions back on and see if iCloud remains available. Finally, if these steps did not work for you, the next time an iOS update becomes available, update your iPhone using iTunes instead of Settings General Software Update (called Over-The-Air.).

If an alert says that there's not enough iCloud storage

Check how much iCloud storage you have available, then check your Next Backup Size. Then take steps to reduce the amount of information you store in iCloud, or upgrade your iCloud storage.

1password Not Syncing Between Devices

Passwords are available in Google Chrome using the iCloud Passwords extension. Find out which version of iCloud for Windows you have. To set up your computer, see Set up iCloud Keychain and iCloud Passwords. Note: iCloud Passwords only works in Chrome on computers that have iCloud for Windows installed. Once the password is changed, your new password will let you access all of the Apple features including iCloud on your compatible devices. If you are wondering 'forgot my iCloud email password', you do not need to panic as there are a number of ways to retrieve and reset the password for your account. Activation Lock is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, AirPods, or Mac (if it has a T2 security chip). Check your iCloud storage and Next Backup Size in iOS or iPadOS

1. Go to Settings > [your name].
2. Tap iCloud. The amount of iCloud storage that you've used is listed at the top. Learn more.
3. Tap Manage Storage.
4. Tap Backups, then tap the device you're using. Next Backup Size is listed under Last Backup and Backup Size.

It may take a few minutes for your device to calculate Next Backup Size.

If your available iCloud storage is low

1. Make more space available in iCloud by reducing the size of your backup or deleting information that you don't need.
   
2. Upgrade your iCloud storage plan.
3. If you still need help, contact Apple Support.

If a message says that your last backup couldn't be completed

1. Check that you're connected to Wi-Fi.
2. Ensure that your device is up to date.
3. Try to back up on another Wi-Fi network.
4. If you still need help, contact Apple Support.

If your iCloud backup is taking longer than expected to complete

1. Check that you're connected to Wi-Fi.
2. Check your upload speed.
3. Leave your device connected to power and Wi-Fi for 24 hours. If your backup still isn't done, archive important data then contact Apple Support.

If the iCloud Backup option is greyed out

1. Check if a restore is already in progress. You can create a new backup after your device finishes restoring.
2. Check whether you installed a profile that restricts iCloud Backup. Go to Settings > General > Device Management to see a list of installed profiles.
